One of the children's book I like is, "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss.  I like this book because it teaches students how to rhyme, it teaches them to apply colors to different objects in the world around us, and it's an exciting book.

Students that attend an inner city school would benefit from their parents, if the parents took a more active role in their child’s education.  Such as, reading to their child daily or their child reading to the parent daily will increase their vocabulary.
